Fire Pump Installations are calculated according to the Fire Risk to be protected. This Fire Risk categorisation as well as the storage height and manner of storage then dictates the Fire Pump's hydraulic performance requirement as well as the fire water storage tank size to be used.

Categorisations dictate the hydraulic requirement of a fire protection system.
